In this paper, we obtained the exact bound state energy spectrum of the Schrödinger equation with energy dependent molecular Kratzer potential using asymptotic iteration method (AIM). The corresponding wave function expressed in terms of the confluent hypergeometric function was also obtained. As a special case, when the energy slope parameter in the energy-dependent molecular Kratzer potential is set to zero, then the well-known molecular Kratzer potential is recovered. Numerical results for the energy eigenvlaues are also obtained for different quantum states, in the presence and absence of the energy slope parameter. These results are discussed extensively using graphical representation. Our results are seen to agree with the results in literature.
The energy spectra and the wave function depending on the c-factor are investigated for a more general Woods-Saxon potential (MGWSP) with an arbitrary -state. The wave functions are expressed in terms of the Jacobi polynomials. Two potentials are obtained from this MGWSP as special cases. These special potentials are Hulthen and the standard Woods-Saxon potentials. We also discuss the energy spectrum and wave function for the special cases.
Hulthen plus Hellmann potentials are adopted as the quark-antiquark interaction potential for studying the thermodynamic properties and the mass spectra of heavy mesons. We solved the radial Schrödinger equation analytically using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave function in terms of Laguerre polynomials were obtained. The present results are applied for calculating the mass of heavy mesons such as charmoniumand cc and bottomonium bb, and thermodynamic properties such as the mean energy, the specific heat, the free energy, and the entropy. Four special cases were considered when some of the potential parameters were set to zero, resulting in Hellmann potential, Yukawa potential, Coulomb potential, and Hulthen potential, respectively. The present potential provides satisfying results in comparison with experimental data and the work of other researchers.
A class of Yukawa potential is adopted as the quark-antiquark interaction potential for studying the mass spectra of heavy mesons. The potential was made to be temperature-dependent by replacing the screening parameter with Debye mass. We solved the radial Schrödinger equation analytically using the series expansion method and obtained the energy eigenvalues. The present results are applied for calculating the mass spectra of heavy mesons such as charmonium and bottomonium . Two special cases were considered when some of the potential parameters were set to zero, resulting into Hellmann potential, and Coulomb potential, respectively. The present potential provides satisfying results in comparison with experimental data and the work of other researchers.
We solve the D-dimensional Klein-Gordon equation with a newly proposed generalized hyperbolic potential model, under the condition of equal scalar and vector potentials. The relativistic bound state energy equation has been obtained via the functional analysis method. We obtained the relativistic and non-relativistic ro-vibrational energy spectra for different diatomic molecules. The numerical results for these diatomic molecules tend to portray inter-dimensional degeneracy symmetry. Variations of the energy eigenvalues obtained with the potential parameters have been demonstrated graphically. Our studies will find relevant applications in the areas of chemical physics and high-energy physics.
