Fluorination of Phosphorus(+3) Derivatives by Xenon Difluoride.-Several phosphorous compounds such as the phosphites (I) and (III), fluorophosphite (VI) and hydrophosphoryl derivative (VIII) are fluorinated using XeFe2 to give the expected products (II), (IV) or ( IX), but also unusual products such as (VII), which results from Arbuzov rearrangement. The mechanism of these reactions is discussed as well as the unexpected formation of the phosphonium salt (V). -(LERMONTOV, S. A.; POPOV, A. V.; ZAVORIN, S. I.; SUKHOJENKO, I. I.; KURYLEVA, N.
