The paper presents the methods of development and the results of research on the effectiveness of the seq2seq neural network architecture using Visual Attention mechanism to solve the im2latex problem. The essence of the task is to create a neural network capable of converting an image with mathematical expressions into a similar expression in the LaTeX markup language. This problem belongs to the Image Captioning type: the neural network scans the image and, based on the extracted features, generates a description in natural language. The proposed solution uses the seq2seq architecture, which contains the Encoder and Decoder mechanisms, as well as Bahdanau Attention. A series of experiments was conducted on training and measuring the effectiveness of several neural network models.
Nowadays, the process of technology development can be described as accumulation of huge data resources, which numbers are growing. Problems associated with the presentation of information in the form of data flow or streams arise more and more often due to the increased amount of data and the speed of their processing. This article presents inquiry algorithm, which is based on methods of inquiry adaptation. The algorithm includes streaming data processing from different sources, which allows to apply new inquiries to old data and new data to old inquiries to make getting the results more efficient.
Today, in connection with the informatization of society, all spheres of life are adapting to distance working conditions. Tutors, like many other teachers, need to adapt to the new lesson format. The article examines how the services of tutors in various subjects via the Internet are provided, what software and educational resources are used to prepare and conduct distance learning, are there any significant differences from the point of view of the tutor in the distance and face-to-face training format. The preferences of tutors regarding the functionality of the system are given, which will be a tool for conducting individual lessons on the Internet. The research was carried out using an empirical method — through a survey. To participate in it were invited tutors who are already teaching online or have taught before, as well as those who are just starting to engage in online tutoring. The results of this research are presented in an article with analytical comments. A detailed description of the tutor’s activities in the process of conducting distance learning is given. As a result, it was concluded that a system for conducting distance lessons is a necessity for a modern teacher engaged in tutoring. The article presents the necessary functional minimum of such a system.
