The conclusion is drawn that in countries with developed democratic traditions, the number of factors that influence electoral behavior formation is determined and fairly stable. In countries undergoing social change, electoral results are largely dependent on current socio-economic policies, while non-economic factors are more influential than in developed democracies.
Countering the spread of extremist ideology in the russian information spaCe Issues of using the Internet for the purpose of promotion of extremist ideas, including in social networks, are considered. The functional effectiveness of existing legal acts regulating the use of information resources of the network is characterized. The existing mechanisms and methods of prevention of extremist ideology are presented and proposed.
