The article considers the issue of assessing and improving the efficiency of using available resources at agricultural enterprises by improving the technology of vertical farming based on the introduction of microclimate management systems and data collection on processes. Due to the usage of microclimate management systems, the use of vertical farming is spreading in world practice. As it allows companies to get more products from a smaller growing area, improve the quality (safety) of products and grow crops all year round, regardless of environmental conditions. This paper presents an analysis of the modern vertical farming industry and assesses the impact of management systems on the development of vertical farming.
