The purpose of the present study is to suggest the development direction for the neutral library which can describe the parametric modeling and design algorithm to design the construction spatial information which is known as BIM. To do this, we surveyed the recent research related to neutral library and analyzed the library technology of BIM modeler such as Revit, Archicad. By using this result, we suggested the development direction based on BIM description script language for the neutral BIM library including the parametric design and the algorithm definition. Keywords : BIM, neutral library, parametric, description language, object modeling
키워드: BIM, GIS, 통합 플랫폼, SOC 시설물 Abstract Recently, BIM(Building Information Model) is widely applied to all stages of SOC (Social Overhead Capital)facilities life cycle from planning to maintenance. While BIM is an analysis tool focussing the inner space of facilities, GIS is principally applied to analyzing relationship between facilities. Therefore, integrating BIM and GIS, we expect to get a potential synergy effect in aspects of effective information management and various analysis for SOC facilities. This paper deals with prioritizing SOC facilities for applying BIM/GIS integrating platform to local governments. First, investigate facilities required by law, and identify SOC facilities suitable for SOC characteristics. Second, analyze the effectiveness and applicability of BIM/GIS integrating platform applying each facility. For the purpose, we quantify effectiveness and applicability in aspects of UIS management and GIS functions. Lastly, prioritize the SOC facilities applying BIM/GIS integrating platform.
The purpose of the present study is to suggest the extern BIM reference model for interoperability between BIM and GIS. After we surveyed the research progress and usecases related to the interoperability to do this, we analyzed the architecture of the neutral model such as IFC, CityGML to identify the differences between these and expand CityGML model. By using this result, we proposed the external BIM reference model including the metadata which defines mapping rules from IFC to CityGML.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
