This study is motivated by the writer�s preliminary observation to some of the students at SDIT; the mastery of their Arabic vocabularies is not maximal yet. It could be caused by many factors; including the teachers who tend using the old methods such as a drill or with the help of images in teaching Arabic. The purpose of this study is to know the quality of learning Arabic class V SDIT Al-Qonita Palangka Raya by using make a matching model. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection is through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that this model is very suitable to be used in learning Arabic, not only proved to be loved by the students in class V SDIT Al-Qonita Palangka Raya but also effective to achieve the related learning objectives. In the case of learning Arabic in SDIT Al-Qonita Palangka Raya, considering the class is not big class, so they make a matching model is able to improve the learning in general, in terms of making students understand easily, easy of evaluation, easy to master, easy to train these four language skills (istima', Kalam, qira'ah, and kitabah).
At this time character education can no longer be ignored because of the role that is very important to improve the moral and morals of children because the moral children of today's nation are getting away from the good word with the modern era of changes that are cultivated in information technology that is growing rapidly renewal. In this PKM activity, to overcome the apparent problems, the team of lecturers Prodi PAI offers PKM implementation with the form of Character Education Education as a Pillar in Building Moral And Child Morals held at PKBM Luthfillah, which is opened for PKBM and general participants. Considering many people who do not have formal education or equality, this counseling is expected to be useful and equip the community about understanding the guidance of Islam in educating children at home in general and about the procedures for the implementation of personal Islamic character education that can be maximally endeavored by each family members, both the head of the family and the representatives and all their members, so as to assist the government in socializing character education for the grass root community in practice level.
Keterbatasan SDM dan krisis kebermaknaan hidup menjadi salah faktor minimnya pengamalan keislaman masyarakat muslim Desa Danau Pantau. Untuk itu, perlu sosialisasi dan pelatihan penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis psikologi positif. Pengabdian yang dimotori Dosen Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Prodi Bimbingan Konseling pada Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya, bertujuan membekali wawasan masyarakat dan melatih mereka untuk dapat menanamkan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter sedarhana dari lingkungan keluarga berbasis psikologi positif. Sasaran kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah keluarga muslim di Desa Danau Pantau. Peserta kegiatan PkM ini sebanyak 65 orang dan dilaksanakan dengan 3 langkah: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan terbimbing, dan dilaksanakan dua kali, pada 9 September 2022 dan 11 November 2022 di Masjid AL-Hijrah. Temuan hasil kegiatan PkM dengan mitra ini diperoleh bahwa mayoritas peserta, yaitu 92% belum mengetahui program PPK yang diprakarsai pemerintah. Temuan selanjutnya yaitu tidak ditemukannya pelatihan penerapan PPK ataupun pelatihan berbasis psikologi positif sebelumnya. Untuk itu dihadirkan pelatihan dengan kegiatan PkM ini. Adapun hasil pelaksanaan PkM ini adalah: 1) Telah dilaksanakan pelatihan penerapan PPK kitab al-Akhlak lil Banin berbasis psikologi positif; 2) Telah dilaksanakan pendampingan penggalian nilai PPK yang bisa diterapkan di skala keluarga; dan 3) Telah dilaksanakan pendampingan kesehatan mental masyarakat yang multisektoral, kuratif, preventif, dan Islami. Limited human resources and a crisis of the meaning of life are factors in the Muslim community's lack of knowledge and practice of Islam in Danau Pantau Village. For this reason, it is necessary to socialize and strengthen character education training based on positive psychology. This community dedication, which was given by lecturers of the Islamic Education Study Program and Guidance And Counseling Program, Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya, aims to provide insight into the community and train them to instil simple Strengthening Character Education from a positive psychology-based family environment. The target of this PkM activity is Muslim families in Danau Pantau Village. There were 65 participants in this PkM activity, and it was carried out in 3 steps: planning, implementing, and evaluating. The method used in this activity is guided training, and it was held twice, on 9 September 2022 and 11 November 2022, at the AL-Hijrah Mosque. The results of PkM activities with these partners showed that the majority of participants, namely 92%, did not know about the Character Education Strengthening Program. The next finding is that there was no training on implementing Character Education Strengthening Program or training based on positive psychology. For this reason, training was presented with this PkM activity. The results of this PkM are: 1. Training on applying the Character Education Strengthening Program Kitab al-Akhlak lil Banin based on positive psychology has been carried out; 2. Character Education Strengthening Program assistance which can be applied at the family scale has been carried out; 3. Multi-sectoral, curative, preventive and Islamic community mental health assistance has been carried out.
The aim of the research is to find out children�s character development through interpersonal communication and parents� role model in Islamic Elementary School Al-Achfas Dwi Matra South Jakarta. This research is conducted by using Descriptive method. The data is collected through observation, interview, and documentation, and then it is analyzed descriptively by several steps such as data reduction, data presentation and deduction. Parents with good interpersonal communication are the source of children�s physical and spiritual health. Therefore, a child who is educated communicatively with good role model will grow as a mature human being who is physically and spiritually healthy. A good role model is an effective method to teach moral values to children due to their character as imitators. The result of this research shows that parents in Islamic Elementary School Al-Achfas Dwi Matra Jakarta are able to provide interpersonal communication and good role model in children�s character development.
