This due diligence for chestnut producers in Aydın and İzmir provinces was carried out in Efeler, Köşk, Sultanhisar, Nazilli, and İzmir's Beydağ, Ödemiş and Kiraz districts of Aydın, where chestnut cultivation is intense in Aydın and İzmir provinces in 2021. A total of 57 producers were interviewed and 23 questions were asked to the producers, including chestnut varieties, disease-pest, gall bee, pesticide use in chestnuts, the time of leaving chestnuts in the burial, and the problems they encountered in aquaculture, and the data obtained were evaluated. As a result of the research, it was seen that the education level of the producers was low, most of them were chestnut producers from the ancestors and they were not conscious about chestnut production. In addition, it has been observed that there is an unconscious cultivation, chestnuts are a very good source of income for them, but some growers only visit the garden during the harvest. Our aim is to identify the negativities experienced in chestnuts on the basis of producers and to seek solutions on them.
