Résumé Cet article s’interroge sur la manière dont des juristes modérément ouverts aux sciences sociales peuvent recourir à ces dernières dans la construction d’une science du droit qui ne dépend pas que d’eux. Il distingue à cet égard trois cercles concentriques. Le premier forme l’objet d’étude de ce que l’on appelle communément la doctrine. Celle-ci constitue le deuxième cercle, qui entoure le premier et est elle-même englobée dans un troisième cercle, celui de la science du droit.
