Esta dissertação só existe por conta do investimento na educação pública, que neste trabalho consistiu em uma bolsa de estudos CAPES, e no financiamento do projeto Pessoas, Plantas e Paisagens (FAPESP 2017/25157-0), que possibilitou a execução integral da etapa de campo, laboratório, obtenção de datações e demais custos que uma pesquisa em arqueologia demanda. Assim, agradeço ao contribuinte brasileiro, que por meio dos impostos pagos tornou essa dissertação possível. Espero que os investimentos do erário público na educação e na produção de ciência se tornem maiores e o acesso a esses mais amplo.
