El presente artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación realizada durante el año 2008 donde se describen los actores y contenidos de la comunicación móvil producidos en Cataluña. La comunicación móvil, además de ser uno de los sectores más dinámicos de la economía global, está transformando diferentes aspectos de la vida social, desde las formas de relacionarse hasta los procesos de producción, distribución y consumo cultural. La investigación traza un primer mapa de la situación, propone una serie de categorías de análisis y sienta las bases para futuros estudios más específicos sobre la comunicación móvil en Cataluña. (1) El Grup de Recerca d’Interaccions Digitals (GRID) es un grupo de investigación de la Universitat de Vic que desde el año 2003 se ocupa de estudiar las nuevas formas de comunicación digital interactiva y los procesos de digitalización de la comunicación. Este artículo construye la travesía histórica del concepto transculturación narrativa propuesto por Ángel Rama. El análisis se basa, metodológicamente, en el examen de la discrepancia que se produce entre la proposición teórica y su recepción. A lo largo del análisis, además, las reflexiones surgidas en torno a transculturación narrativa se contrastan a otras metáforas culturales latinoamericanas contemporáneas a la formulación ramiana, tales como Calibán (Fernández Retamar), Malandraje (Candido), Fuera de lugar (Schwarz), Nacionalismo diferencial (De Campos), Filtragem (Bosi) y Literaturas heterogéneas (Cornejo Polar).
RESUMENEste artículo examina las distintas posiciones -ya sea de convergencia, divergencia o disensión-que toman las representaciones de la Modernidad en dos poemas -"El viento y la multitud en la metrópolis" y "Maniobra gris (niebla en el puerto)"-de Pedro Plonka, integrante de la vanguardia histórica literaria desarrollada en Valparaíso. En estos poemas se aprecia un progresivo distanciamiento del imaginario prometeico que motivó la fe en el progreso y en la técnica incentivando con ello el crecimiento industrial, comercial y marítimo de la ciudad desde fines del siglo XIX hasta las primeras décadas del siglo pasado. Por medio del análisis de las mediaciones en los textos literarios apreciamos que se construye en ambos poemas un imaginario que socava aquel imaginario prometeico, entregando una visión de crítica, y no así de fracaso, de la acelerada y progresiva concepción de tiempo histórico propia de la modernidad.
