Research on coal mining subsidence under highway can be divided into two fields: research on the problems caused by coal mining under highway and research on the problems caused by highway construction above mined-out area of coal mine.The issues about safety,design and engineering are the key points restricting the safety and the construction of highway in coal mining areas. The paper completely summarized and analysed the present situation of research on coal mining subsidence under highway and the special characteristics comparing with the general building and the railway. In order to ensure the safety of existing highways and highways in planning in coal mining areas, according to the deficiency of current research, this paper put forward the future research directions of coal mining subsidence under highway.
Northwest China is rich of coal energy. Mining activities bring serous impact on the environment and scarce water resources because of its shallow buried and severe mining impact. Stowing mining is one of the most effective measures to control strata movement and reduce surface subsidence. Based on the local surface widespread wind-blown sand for aggregate and combined with the knife pillar mining,this paper introduces the stowing mining technology.
For guiding coal mining under highway scientifically and systematically, Regulations of coal mining under highway is necessary to be compiled in a few years in China.Base on the study of laws about highway and coal mining and existent regulations about coal mining under other constructions, this paper proposed the principal parts of the regulations according to the deformation and failure characteristics of highway caused by the effect of coal mining.The study provided the supports about theories and mining technologies for extracting unexploited coal under highway, increasing the coal production, optimizing mining design, prolonging the coal mine life and put forward some constructive suggestions for completing the regulations in the coal mining area in China.
By making full use of the advantages of strip mining method and full-pillar mining method, the wide strip and full-pillar mining method can achieve the aim of mining under villages. However, at the full-pillar mining stage, the difficulty in managing several workfaces which are at work at the same time still exists. To improve the wide strip and full-pillar mining method’s applicability, an optimization of extraction sequence for coal pillars instead of the multi-working-face is put forward at the stage of full-pillar mining, and in the case of the deformation limit of surface structures is satisfied, to extract all the coal pillars which are under villages. By specific analysis of the extraction sequence optimization of the coal pillars in No.1 mine under Qian Xudapo village which belongs to Chang Chun coal Co., LTD., a better result is got which also acts a technological reference for the extraction under villages.
