In this paper, we extend the result of Wardowski (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2012:94, 2012 by applying some weaker conditions on the self map of a complete metric space and on the mapping F, concerning the contractions defined by Wardowski. With these weaker conditions, we prove a fixed point result for F-Suzuki contractions which generalizes the result of Wardowski. MSC: 74H10; 54H25
In this paper, we introduce the notion of a conditionally F-contraction in the setting of complete metric-like spaces and we investigate the existence of fixed points of such mappings. Our results unify, extend, and improve several results in the literature.MSC: 46T99; 47H10; 54H25; 54E50
In this article, we introduce a new concept of contraction called F-Khan-contractions and prove a fixed point theorem concerning this contraction which generalizes the results announced by Khan [M. S. Khan, Rend.
In this paper, we state and prove Wardowski type fixed point theorems in metric space by using a modified generalized F-contraction maps. These theorems extend other well-known fundamental metrical fixed point theorems in the literature (Dung and Hang in Vietnam J. Math. 43:743-753, 2015 and Piri and Kumam in Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2014:210, 2014. Examples are provided to support the usability of our results.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
