Resumen La Organización Mundial de la Salud sostiene que el trasplante de córnea es el más frecuente del mundo entre las demandas de órganos y tejidos. Nos preguntamos entonces, ¿qué implicancias sociales y subjetivas tiene perder una córnea y quedar ciego de un ojo en el transcurso de la juventud en contextos de marginación? ¿Cómo esperan las personas el injerto? ¿Cómo perciben la operación? ¿De qué manera le dan sentido a vivir con una córnea que proviene de otro ser humano? En este escrito recurro a mi vivencia personal luego de quedar ciego de un ojo a los 20 años de edad y de haber tenido que esperar 4.380 días con un rostro desfigurado en Santiago del Estero (Argentina) para recibir un trasplante de córnea. Incorporo elementos observables, discursivos y relacionales que permiten ingresar a lo vivido de quien espera, y a quien le extirpan e implantan un tejido.
El trabajo indaga la relación que se establece entre mujeres de un barrio en los márgenes de la ciudad Capital de la provincia de Santiago del Estero –Argentina- y los servicios de salud de una Unidad Primaria de Atención ubicada en el sector. Entendida la Salud/Enfermedad/Atención como proceso, destacamos cómo en el trabajo de campo etnográfico, la reflexividad es necesaria para interpretar las condiciones socio-sanitarias desde una perspectiva contextualmente situada, en tanto la escritura etnográfica permite ingresar a la categoría de “interfase” como una dimensión vivida. Analizamos las estrategias de sobrevivencia sanitaria en el plano diario y para conseguir ser atendidas, los momentos en el consultorio y el prohibicionismo médico a las prácticas culturales en salud de las mujeres-madres.
Describiremos las estrategias de resistencia de las mujeres de la Unión de Trabajadores/as de la Tierra en contextos de múltiples desigualdades en Atamisqui, Santiago del Estero, Argentina. En un primer momento efectuamos una pesquisa bibliográfica sobre los estudios sociales agrarios e imaginarios sociales que se sostienen de la ruralidad y en específico de las mujeres campesinas, para luego pasar a la capacidad de lucha descrita desde los feminismos comunitarios y territoriales. Para ello, recurrimos a observaciones participantes y conversaciones informales de nuestro trabajo de campo in situ, y también indagamos fuentes secundarias como periódicos locales y redes sociales de la organización. Concluimos que una aproximación territorial a la violencia hacia las mujeres posibilita desmontar las tramas patriarcales que invisibilizan la participación social de ellas en sus contextos.
