Mining association rule is an important part of data mining.In this paper, a method and its algorithm DMAR of distributed mining association rules in synchronisms are presented in distributed transaction database environments by using meta-learning technology. The algorithm has higher mining eMciency and lower data communication amount. The distributed factor y is also defined in the paper, which is to measure the effciency of mining algorithm, and it is pointed ont that the value of y is related to mining efliciency and data communication amount Experiments have been conducted to prove the correctness and effciency of the algorithm DMAR.
There are frequent occurrences of pattern match involved in the process of counting the support count of candidates, which is one of the main factors influencing the efficiency of mining for association rules. In this chapter, an efficient algorithm for pattern match being fit for mining association rules is presented by analyzing its characters, and it has been proved correctly and efficiently.
