A B S T R A C TThe effect of supplemental nitrogen application on soybean yield was evaluated at Campo Novo do Parecis-MT. An experimental design with randomized blocks with nine treatments and four replications was used: T1 -without inoculants and without nitrogen fertilizers; T2 -Only nitrogen fertilizer on the standard dosage (SD); T3 -Only the inoculants; T4 -Inoculants + SD at the base; T5 -Inoculants + SD during R1; T6 -Inoculants + SD during R2; T7 -Inoculants + SD during R3; T8 -Inoculants + SD during R4; T9 -Inoculants + SD during R5. In the variables: plant height; number of soybeans per plant; number of soybeans per pod; total mass of one thousand soybeans and; soybean productivity, it was found that the nitrogen addition influences the plant response, in the corresponding periods of each treatment, especially for additions in R4 and R5. It can be said that the late nitrogen fertilization in supplement form enables productivity gains.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
