A novel video-assisted segmentectomy technique for lung cancer is clinically useful. Selective segmental inflation provides an obvious intersegmental plane quickly and easily, allowing a real margin distance in the ventilated segment. Despite the minimally invasive approach, since only the segment to be resected and not the entire lobe is expanded, an appropriate surgical view is possible.
A pixel circuit and a gate driver on array for light-emitting display are presented. By simultaneously utilizing top-gate n-type oxide and p-type lowtemperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) thin-film transistors (TFTs), the circuits provide high refresh rate and low power consumption. An active-matrix LED (AMOLED) panel with proposed circuits is fabricated, and driving at various refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz could be achieved.
We describe a newly developed 352xRGBx440 System-LCD that incorporates an ambient light sensor system comprising a lateral photo diode and analog processing circuits integrated directly onto the display substrate in CG-Silicon. By intelligently controlling the LCD backlight level in response to ambient lighting conditions we achieve low power consumption with high reliability at low cost.
Nanometre-sized ZnO crystals doped with Co were synthesized by a co-precipitation method combined with a thermal treatment. By changing the reaction temperature, we can control the crystallite size from roughly 10 nm particles to 20 nm × 200 nm nm rods grown along the hexagonal c-direction. X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering showed growth of high-quality wurtzite ZnO crystals incorporating Co systematically in the ZnO host lattice in the tested range of [Co]<3.0 mol%. Electronic transitions of Co in the oxygen tetrahedron were also observed in optical absorption, giving supporting evidence for systematic substitution of Co into the Zn site.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
