Angolan portuguese has shown, with some prominence, an agglutinating morphology. The present study aims to analyze the processes of formation of neologisms resulting from hybridisms between native angolan languages and portuguese language. These neologisms have been shown to be productive and enriching for the variant of portuguese language spoken locally, which brings together vernacular elements referring to the bantu languages and latin morphemes incorporated by the only official language in Angola. Using mainly word collections in reference literary works, which constitute the corpora of the present study, we present fifty hybrid neologisms, based on the kimbundu, umbundu, cokwe and the quikongo and latin affixing morphemes. Neologisms have a verbal, adjective and nominal contribution that result from these interlinguistic amalgams and adjunctions. With this study, it is intended to understand the systematization and operation that speakers have carried out over time, considering linguistic varieties.P á g i n a | 435
