The carboxy terminal asparagine residue of ribonuclease F1 has been shown to be replaced by an aspartic acid residue in the isoform, ribonuclease F2. A new name ribonuclease F1′ has been proposed for this isoform. The previously reported primary structure of ribonuclease F1 has been corrected at two positions.
