La pandemia del covid-19 nos ha puesto el reto de cómo sobrevivir estando en aislamiento sanitario, estar en casa sin salir, y tener que hacer gestiones financieras a través del Internet. Los canales digitales es parte de esta solución. Ante esta situación, el presente estudio tuvo el objetivo de explicar las características y diferencias de las investigaciones realizadas referente a la utilización de los canales digitales en las entidades bancarias del sector público privado; en un periodo de cinco años últimos; analizándose treinta artículos, que para su mejor entendimiento fueron agrupados en temas relacionados con el proceso de la digitalización (13), canales e inclusión digital (7), sistemas Fintechs (6), y riesgos digitales y monedas digitales (4). Estos artículos fueron revisados sistemáticamente, fueron obtenidos en bases de datos de Scopus, Scielo, ProQuest, Dialnet, Redalyc, Google académico y Web of Sciencie pertenecientes al periodo 2017 – 2021. En el análisis general, el problema del uso de canales digitales es a nivel mundial, algunos países desarrollados ya estaban utilizándolo y los que se encuentran en desarrollo se vienen adaptando. En América Latina lidera Brasil, seguido de México, Chile: Perú ocupa el noveno lugar. Sin embargo, existe aún poca regularización jurídica para proteger el derecho de los usuarios.
