This paper introduces a solution for laser scanning system, which utilizes machine vision technology. It includes algorithm for positioning and matrix for scanning control. The system can be used to detect an object and laser mark on specific position. This work explains how to use one CCD to catch an object’s position variation relative to a reference point, and how to translate the different coordination systems for laser scanner etc.
This paper introduces a new correction method for laser scanner system. Based on image recognition, the laser marking result which includes a crossed matrix is grabbed as matching pattern. A algorithm is presented to locate all crosses and measure their positions , and a correction data is generated automatically for laser scanner system. This method makes the correcting process be much faster and more accurate than conventional manual measurement way.
This paper describes a new laser engraving system for automation. It is a different open system from traditional ones. The system excludes sealed machine housing so that it is convenient for automatic loading and unloading. This paper also discussed safety issues which came with the open housing structure. At the end of this article, you will find the design of automatic loading and unloading with pneumatic components and a PC-based controller.
