Plantar fasciitis is a common complaint. This paper aimed to find the clinical characteristics of Al-Ramadi Women who had Plantar fasciitis. A specialist rheumatologist in Al-Ramadi Teaching Hospital collected this prospective report from 170 Iraqi women, aged (25-70) years, who had plantar fasciitis between 1st January 2019 to 1st January 2020. Our findings showed that the most common affected age was between (40-49) years among all women who suffered from intense sharp painful heels at the start of walking. There were 66 women (38%) between (40-49) years plus 32 women (18%) their BMI was between (30-34%). In the commonest age group, there were 37 women (21.7%) who had Calcaneal spur and five women (0.2%) who had Diabetes Mellitus. Therefore, it can be clearly said that Plantar Fasciitis is an evidence for obese due to the statistical analysis carried on the middle-aged Iraqi women who had intense sharp painful heels at the start of walking plus calcaneal spur in the lateral X-ray.
This is a case report of an immunocompromised plus (nCOVID-19) infected elderly Iraqi man in the AL-KARAMA respiratory care unit. Consequently, this man presented on 2/6/2020 following accelerated respiratory deterioration over two days with positive PCR and CT scan confirmation. Ordinarily, SPO2 84% at room temp despite the oxygen administration 4 L/min, not intubated. Therefore, the physician staged this case as IIb according to clinical staging for nCOVID-19. Moreover, he had uncontrolled IDDM and right nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma before three years. Although, the physician applied nCOVID-19 guidelines of the ministry of Health-Iraq for three days but without a response. So, the researchers added an Inhalational Bacteriophage solution to an Inhalational Nanosilver colloid (designated by the authors) alternative after patient consent. Interestingly, there were fast and notable improvements in the patient's overall health plus relief of the respiratory symptoms. Consequently, a continuous increase in his SPO2 over the next day approaching 97%. Moreover, an improvement in his speaking and walking commencing to discharge well plus a negative PCR. Thus, the Inhalational Bacteriophage and Nanosilver are the most beneficial treatment including the prevention of nCOVID-19 complications in all stages.
Introduction-Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate procedure (BMAC) is a novel regenerative technique. Aim-to show BMAC's success in relieving osteoarthritic knee sufferings in Iraqi patients. Methods-It is a retrospective, descriptive investigation of 300 Iraqi patients who suffered from grades 1-3 Kellgren-Lawrence Grading for osteoarthritic knees, aged (35- 64) years, from both genders after oral consent at "Al Zahrawy Center for Stem Cells" in Baghdad over six months. The investigators utilize a verbal pain scale for pain evaluation. Results-Of 300 patients, 195 (65 %) were women; the commoner patients had grade two. Sixty-four (21.3 %) patients discontinue their follow-up. Grade three patients manifest inadequate response. A single injection of BMAC had a good effect on pain score and night stiffness. There were 143 (47 %) patients still suffering in the sixth month, while 95 (31.6 %) patients required extra BMAC. Conclusion-It is the first successful BMAC report in Iraqi patients for relieving osteoarthritic knee sufferings.
