<p>Evolutionary computation and swarm intelligence meta-heuristics are exceptional instances that environment has been a never-ending source of creativeness. The behavior of bees, bacteria, glow-worms, fireflies and other beings have stirred swarm intelligence scholars to create innovative optimization algorithms. This paper proposes the Meerkat Clan Algorithm (MCA) that is a novel swarm intelligence algorithm resulting from watchful observation of the Meerkat (Suricata suricatta) in the Kalahari Desert in southern Africa. This animal shows an exceptional intelligence, tactical organizational skills, and remarkable directional cleverness in its traversal of the desert when searching for food. A Meerkat Clan Algorithm (MCA) proposed to solve the optimization problems through reach the optimal solution by efficient way comparing with another swarm intelligence. Traveling Salesman Problem uses as a case study to measure the capacity of the proposed algorithm through comparing its results with another swarm intelligence. MCA shows its capacity to solve the Traveling Salesman’s Problem. Its dived the solutions group to sub-group depend of meerkat behavior that gives a good diversity to reach an optimal solution. Paralleled with the current algorithms for resolving TSP by swarm intelligence, it has been displayed that the size of the resolved problems could be enlarged by adopting the algorithm proposed here.</p>
Nowadays, the stock market’s prediction is a topic that attracted researchers in the world. Stock market prediction is a process that requires a comprehensive understanding of the data stock movement and analysis it accurately. Therefore, it needs intelligent methods to deal with this task to ensure that the prediction is as correct as possible, which will return profitable benefits to investors. The main goal of this article is the employment of effective machine learning techniques to build a strong model for stock market prediction. The work involved three stages, the first stage involved preprocessing for the stock market data set, then the second stage which involved employing two from supervised machine learning techniques namely K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) and Random Forest (RF), and finally, the evaluation stage of accuracy and efficiency of the prediction for the two proposed models. The results experiments showed that the two proposed models achieved a high accuracy ratio and the RF model was the best of prediction accuracy, where it reached 93.23%, 93.12% and 93.17% respectively according to evaluation measures precision, recall, and F-measure.
Consider feature selection is the main in intelligent algorithms and machine learning to select the subset of data to help acquire the optimal solution. Feature selection used an extract the relevance of the data and discarding the irrelevance of the data with increment fast to select it and to reduce the dimensional of dataset. In the past, it used traditional methods, but these methods are slow of fast and accuracy. In modern times, however, it uses the intelligent methods, Genetic algorithm and swarm optimization methods Ant colony, Bees colony, Cuckoo search, Particle optimization, fish algorithm, cat algorithm, Genetic algorithm ...etc. In feature selection because to increment fast, high accuracy and easy to use of user. In this paper survey it used the Some the swarm intelligent method: Ant colony, Bees colony, Cuckoo search, Particle optimization and Genetic algorithm (GA). It done take the related work for each algorithms the swarm intelligent the ideas, dataset and accuracy of the results after that was done to compare the result in the table among the algorithms and learning the better algorithm is discuses in the discussion and why it is better. Finally, it learning who is the advantage and disadvantage for each algorithms of swarm intelligent in feature selection.
In recent years, Text Mining wasan important topic because of the growth of digital text data from many sources such as government document, Email, Social Media, Website, etc. The English poemsare one of the text data to categorization English Poems will use Text categorization, Text categorization is a method in which classify documents into one or more categories that were predefined the category based on the text content in a document .In this paper we will solve the problem of how to categorize the English poem into one of the English Poems categorizations by using text mining technique and Machine learning algorithm, Our data set consist of seven categorizations for poems the data set is divided into two-part training (learning)and testing data. In the proposed model we apply the text preprocessing for the documents file to reduce the number of feature and reduce dimensionality the preprocessing process converts the text poem to features and remove the irrelevant feature by using text mining process (tokenize,remove stop word and stemming), to reduce the feature vector of the remaining feature we usetwo methods for feature selection and use Rough set theory as machine learning algorithm to perform the categorization, and we get 88% success classification of the proposed model.
Swarm Intelligence (SI) is a discipline that deals with artificial and naturalsystems which study the collective behaviors of social insects or animals. Camel HerdsAlgorithm (CHA) have been proposed as a new swarm intelligent algorithm in this work.The proposed algorithm depends on the behavior of the camel in the natural wild, takinginto consideration that there is a leader for each herd, food and water searchingdepending on humidity value with neighboring strategy. The Flexible Job Shop SchedulingProblem (FJSP) have been addressed as a case study to confirm the proposed algorithm.The trial result showed that the CHA is a good strategy to find the optimal solution inproblem space.
Machine-learning (ML) methods often utilized in applications like computer vision, recommendation systems, natural language processing (NLP), as well as user behavior analytics. Neural Networks (NNs) are one of the most es-sential ways to ML; the most challenging element of designing a NN is de-termining which hyperparameters to employ to generate the optimal model, in which hyperparameter optimization improves NN performance. This study includes a brief explanation regarding a few types of NN as well as some methods for hyperparameter optimization, as well as previous work results in enhancing ANN performance using optimization methods that aid research-ers and data analysts in developing better ML models via identifying the ap-propriate hyperparameter configurations.
