Despite the availability of several stroke rehabilitation devices, there is a need for a system which is comprehensive, compact and worthwhile. The backdrops in the current rehabilitation devices are that they are complex, bulky in structure and are high-priced. In order to overcome these limitations an innovative electric glove system has been prototyped to aid finger-impairment in post-stroke patients. The results obtained from this glove can be analysed using a data-scale. This lucid system can be used by physiotherapists and doctors to get qualitative results. The aim here is to provide millions of people suffering with stroke, a rehabilitation system that is not only effective but also affordable at the same time.
