In Brazil, the hydrogeology of the mining provinces displays proper conditions for the formation of significant reserves of ground water in mineralized bodies, rocks and related soils. These should be understood as potentialy geothecnical formations, but in an enviroment widely pedogenecally active they are designated by claymineralizated formations here, low cohesion particulated systems hundreds of meter deep. Tropical climate facilitates the phenomenon of claymineralization. Mesoscale is the hydrologic normal condition
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
