Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar las estrategias para la gestión del talento humano que actualmente desarrollan las asociaciones yuqueras del departamento de Sucre, Colombia. El análisis se realiza a la luz de la teoría de la responsabilidad social empresarial, tomando como base los indicadores del instituto Ethos, de Brasil. La investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo, en la cual se desarrollaron entrevistas a profundidad con los líderes de diez asociaciones de cultivadores de yuca; así mismo, la observación fue parte importante del estudio, lo cual complementó el análisis de la información. Los resultados indican que las asociaciones, a pesar de estar constituidas legalmente, no adelantan acciones en pro de la gestión del talento humano, y esto se da básicamente por desconocimiento sobre el tema. Sin embargo, existe intención de cambio, porque las asociaciones reconocen la importancia que tiene el talento humano dentro de las empresas. Esto las ha llevado a unirse y gestionar capacitaciones y recursos de forma conjunta, para favorecer el crecimiento gremial.
En este documento, se analizan el comportamiento de la oferta, demanda y preferencias del turismo de jóvenes mochileros que visitan la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. La investigación es cuantitativa, con alcance descriptivo y de tipo transversal, donde se encuestaron 196 visitantes que utilizaron los servicios turísticos informales de bajo costo, durante 2018. Se encontró que la mayoría de turistas informales, son jóvenes entre 18 y 30 años (68%), profesionales, que buscan una experiencia diferente, de bajo costo, con preferencia para viajar en grupo de amigos, gastar poco dinero y hospedarse en sitios económicos. En el 95% de los casos, eligen sitios que les ofrecen servicio de desayuno y conexión a internet, considerado prioritario, y prefieren alojarse en sitios ubicados principalmente en el centro histórico de la ciudad, por su ambiente bohemio y multicultural. Se destaca que el 67% de los encuestados, posee un nivel de formación universitario. Se concluye con la necesidad de que los operadores turísticos complementen los servicios que ofertan, de modo que satisfagan las expectativas de los turistas mochileros que visitan Cartagena de Indias.
Este documento presenta una revisión sobre el concepto de curva de aprendizaje, sus orígenes, modelos y principales aplicaciones. Se realizó una investigación documental, para la cual se consultaron bases de datos especializadas, abordando los principales autores y los aspectos característicos de cada modelo. Los hallazgos indican la importancia del estudio de las curvas de aprendizaje, tanto a nivel individual, grupal y organizacional. Estas últimas pueden ser fuente para la toma de decisión en las empresas, ya que los distintos modelos de curva de aprendizaje pueden brindar información, referente a: metas de producción, evaluación de rendimientos, estimación de mano de obra, optimización de precios y costos, para crear ventajas competitivas. Los trabajos revisados destacan el beneficio de las curvas de aprendizaje en temas como: la planeación, la capacitación y el control de procesos. Se concluye que las curvas de aprendizaje, si bien iniciaron en la industria de la aviación, se han difundido a diversos sectores industriales, con la aportación de nuevos modelos matemáticos para su estimación.
El presente artículo de investigación evalúa la conveniencia del teletrabajo en las agencias de viajes en Cartagena, Colombia. El tipo de investigación abordada fue descriptivo-analítica y se diseñó una herramienta estructurada in situ, la cual fue aplicada a los gerentes y administradores de 26 agencias de viajes del sector turístico registradas formalmente en la Cámara de Comercio de Cartagena. Como resultado se identificó que el teletrabajo como alternativa laboral, representa un futuro prometedor, debido a que el 58% de las empresas están de acuerdo en implementar esta alternativa laboral, siendo conscientes de todas las contribuciones en el desempeño administrativo, incremento de la productividad, la motivación y la disposición de los colaboradores. Se concluye que el 96% de las agencias de viajes utilizan las TIC como una herramienta significativa para impulsar las ventas y solo el 4% no las utilizan, lo que facilita la adaptación del teletrabajo en el sector analizado.
En este artículo, se aborda el tema de la evaluación del profesor Hetero. El objetivo es analizar si la relación entre el profesor Hetero y la evaluación es congruente con los valores y la sinceridad de los estudiantes. Esta investigación académica es descriptiva y se ha realizado a través de un enfoque cuantitativo. Se utilizan los siguientes instrumentos: Heteroevaluación, calificaciones de los alumnos, número de alumnos, número de fallos, tasa de fallos, período de tiempo y asignaturas, así como una prueba de valores. Se realizó un enfoque estadístico, que incluye pruebas de hipótesis, correlaciones, diferencias significativas y pruebas de dependencia. Algunos de los resultados muestran que las evaluaciones de los maestros a través de las evaluaciones hetero aumentan a medida que aumentan las calificaciones de los estudiantes. Además, hay evidencia estadística que explica cómo la cantidad de estudiantes que reproban un curso afecta negativamente la puntuación de evaluación del profesor. Los resultados de la prueba de estudio de valores indican que los estudiantes registran puntuaciones bajas de valor religioso y con un alto grado de valor económico. Esta evidencia puede ser perjudicial para el desarrollo de valores trascendentales como la sinceridad y la honestidad. Por lo tanto, la evaluación hetero podría distorsionarse debido a la fragilidad de la personalidad de los estudiantes.
