Am 17. Mai 2008 fand die DAV-Prüfung zur Schadenversicherungsmathematik (Grundwissen) statt. Von den 92 Teilnehmern und Teilnehmerinnen haben 66 bestanden. Zu jedem der Gebiete Risikomodelle, Tarifierung, Schadenreservierung, Rückversicherung und Risikoteilung waren jeweils zwei Aufgabe sowie ferner zwei Zusatzaufgaben gestellt worden. Eine oder zwei Zusatzaufgaben wurden nur gewertet, wenn eine bzw. zwei der anderen Aufgaben nicht bearbeitet waren oder als nicht bearbeitet gekennzeichnet worden war. Als Hilfsmittel war die klassische Formelsammlung sowie ein nicht programmierbarer Taschenrechner zugelassen. Bei jeder Aufgabe konnten maximal 15 Punkte erreicht werden. Die Klausur wurde als bestanden gewertet, wenn 48 der 120 möglichen Punkte erreicht wurden.

Die Schadensanzahl N ist Poisson-verteilt mit Parameter λ, die Schäden haben eine logarithmische Verteilung, n = 1, 2, 3, . . . für ein q ∈ (0, 1). a) Bestimmen Sie die wahrscheinlichkeitserzeugende Funktion von X k . b) Zeigen Sie, dass S = N k=1 X k negativ binomial verteilt ist und bestimmen Sie die Parameter.Hinweis. Bemerken Sie, dass − ∞ n=1 q n /n = log(1 − q) für |q| < 1.
