Ueber den Abbau des Pikrotoxinins mit Ozon.Von H a n s P r i l l w i t z . (Eingogangen den 17. VII. 1920.) Die beiden Spaltprodukte des Pikrotoxins, das Pikrotoxinin C H 0 und das Pikrotin C1,HI,O,, unterscheiden sich durch L1bIoye&l Wasser, zeigen aber in vieler Bezidung analoge Ei enschaften. Beide sind Dilaktone und lassen sich durch Nka%en zu den entsprechenden zweibasischen SBuren aufs So zerlegte H o r r m a n n %) in Gemchschah?:;. S e 7 d e 1 das Pikrotin mit methyhlkoholischem Kali in zwei verschiedene Sauren, von denen die eine, die Pikrothsiiure, k u n nach dem Auflosen des Bitterstoffes ale t i 3 liumsah Cl,HleO K ausfiel, wahrend das zweite Reaktionsprodukt, ein neutwler ?! or per , der Methylester der a-Pikrotinsiiure ClsH,aOe, in den alkoholischen Mutterhugen blieb. Aus diesem Ester konnte durch langerea Kochen mit wiisserigen Alkalien die freie Silure Cl,H,OI neben einem neutralen Korper Cl,HI8OO,, dem Pikmtin-Lmkton, gewonnea werden. Ganz iihnlich verlief dieaelbe Reaktion bei dem Pikrotoxinin'). Es entstanden zwei Produkte, von denen das neutrale, der Methylester der Pikrotoxinsiiure C,,H,O , an Men e vorherrschte. Ilas zweite Produkt, eine einbaeieche Jaure der %orme1 C,,H,,O war aufzufassen als ein Halbester einer zweibasischen Siiure, der hikrotoxinindikarbonsaure C sH,,,08' Wiihrend die a-htrotinsilure und die PiLrotoxinsiiure in vieler Beziehung p B e Aehnlichkeit aufwiesen, tmf d a s auch fiir die beiden anderen Korper zu. Die P-Pikrotinsilure') wurde d u d uberechtiseige Alkalien in die urn 1 Mol. Wasser reichere Pikrotindikerbansiiure Cl,H,,O, Bbergoftihrt ; diese stellte das h e l o g o n zu der Pikrotoxlnindihrbon&ure dar.
