This study aims to describe and explore: 1) Forms of hamzah writing errors, phonological errors, morphology, syntax and semantics in the students’ thesis that are further evaluated and improved. 2) Factors causing language errors in students’ thesis. 3) Solution to solve the problem of language error in writing thesis. This study used a qualitative content analysis approach to language errors on 3 thesis samples of academic year 2015/2016. The results showed that there was a mistake in writing the hamzah at the beginning of the word on the hamzah qath'i and hamzah washl, as well as in the middle of the word is the misplacement of alif or waw or nibrah letters under the hamzah. The solution offered was the need for Arabic learning innovation by faculty, students refer back to mu'jam in choosing the right words, improving writing skills with continuous practice, and seriousness in writing thesis.

Arabic literature has other characteristics of world literature. Begins with the division of Arabic literature into historians and the concept of the meaning of "Adab al-‘Araby" varying from era to era. This simple writing will explain the different meanings of this field. Due to the pre-Islamic era, Arabic literature was a sense of food. The concept of literature in this era has been associated with banquet, meaning food that calls people to their food and performs this habit in the winter when the cold and the possibility of generosity to people. In the Islam era, the meaning of literature has changed to education and literature by the dakwah of Islam to people and its teachings and the refinement of souls. In the Umayyad era, the concept of literature became the meaning of education. In the Abbasid era literature was the sense of the call to Mahamad and Almkramm. In modern times came literature in the sense of the French (Litterature), which the French to write everything in the language.

This article focuses on the problem of Sufism which exists in pesantren’s poetry. The pesantren’s poetry has certain characteristics as it is written by poet whose educational background is pesantren. The values of Sufism will be reflected directly or indirectly into a poem written by a poet educated in pesantren. This what makes the poems produced from pesantren differ from that of other general poems. The specific features of the pesantren’s poems become interesting object to investigate. Focusing on written references this study employs heurmeneutical approach. It takes also the socio-cultural aspect into account. The use of this approach is based on an assumption that there should be tightly close relationship between the poem and the educational background of its writer. A poem exists within no cultural emptiness. At this point, the culture of pesantren that shaped a poet will influentially colour up the poem he/she produced. Based on hermeneutical approach coupled with socio-cultural aspect this study attempts to describe interesting side of Sufism aspects found within the pesantren’s poetry. To obtain reliable result, it puts emphasis on verstehen based on heurmenetical priciples developed by Paul Ricoeur, namely interpretation. The study finds that Sufism in the pesantren’s poetry deals with such number of symbols as light, flying, love, door, and prostration.
