Malaysia seeks to attract tourists not only by their numbers, but also by their ability to spend in Malaysia as this is vital to economic growth and employment creation. Tourists would usually spend more on the demand side of the market if the destinations deliver enticing and fun experiences that inspire the visitors to spend. Shopping is one of the leisure shopping activities that tourists often engage in. It is therefore crucial to comprehend the shopping expectation and experience attributes in the shopping sub-sector of tourism in Malaysia as there are insufficient studies on this subject in the literature. The purpose of this research paper is to identify international tourist's shopping expectation, shopping experiences, tourist shopping satisfaction, destination loyalty, and country images in Malaysia's shopping landscape. Selfadministrated questionnaires were completed by 401 international tourists visiting Kuala Lumpur. Exploratory factor analysis was performed on the shopping expectation and shopping experience and had identified three underlying factors of the shopping expectation, which are named shopping atmosphere, store service orientation and merchandise expectation. The implications of these results were discussed to enable a better understanding of the niche market in tourism shopping. Future research should look into the possible factors of returning tourists more attentively to gage the outcomes of the existing shopping landscape.
The government has implemented the Movement Control Order in response to the Covid-19 outbreak that has spread throughout Malaysia in 2020 (MCO). This decree indirectly affected the nation's educational system as well. Face-to-face study mode has been replaced by online distance learning (ODL) mode throughout this MCO time. The goal of this study is to identify students' ethical and moral issues, examine the contributing elements to such issues, and examine students' awareness of the ethics and behaviour that should be followed during ODL. The purpose of this study is to inform the public, in particular students, on the significance of ethics and civility in ODL. This study's methodology took the form of a library investigation that was only concerned with document analysis. This study is statistically analysed, which is descriptive in terms of spoken or written words concerning observable human behaviour. Because ethics and civilisation work to keep people from acting immorally, the key findings make it evident that they are important factors in balancing human life. The study's results do indicate that there is now a negative behaviour associated with the usage of ODL, nevertheless.

The survey which involved a department of language lecturers provides further insights into the discourse of teaching and learning in higher learning institutions.
According to Ahmad Rafiki and Kalsom (2014), religion is one of the most influential social institutions that is significantly associated with people’s attitudes, values, and behaviours. In Islam, values are every single thing Allah has prescribed as good, true, and useful. The two main sources and references of Islamic values are al-Quran and Hadith. In the light of faith, the purpose of this paper is to analyse the Islamic values in The Last Laugh. This fiction is written by Kris Jitab in his compilation of short stories entitled ‘Victor’s Last Wish and More Yarns’ published in 2004. The author portrays his literary skills in the form of writing. Since he was born in the setting of place of his short story, Sarawak, he successfully shares his knowledge of the environment, culture, and identity. He combines the emotions of desire, ambition, love, rejection, and self-deception through the characters’ eyes. He is witty and brilliant enough as he signals the dark sides of following the tradition blindly especially when it is harmful towards the society. Hence, travelling through The Last Laugh to highlight the Islamic values will be of a great help to Muslim readers in understanding and digesting the story from the Islamic perspectives
