Condiloma vulvar caracteriza-se por verrugas genitais causadas pelo papilomavirus humano, doença sexualmente transmissível. Objetivou-se identificar comportamentos de autocuidado a partir dos requisitos por desvio de saúde em mulheres com Condiloma vulvar. Estudo transversal numa amostra de atendimento de um dos pesquisadores de uma instituição pública, referência em Doenças Sexualmente Transmissíveis, em Fortaleza -CE, com 30 mulheres, entre agosto e setembro de 2007. Aplicou-se uma entrevista com questões abertas e fechadas. Os dados foram analisados descritivamente. Observou-se que as entrevistadas têm baixo nível socioeconômico e educacional. Os comportamentos de autocuidado identificados, nesta pesquisa, a partir dos requisitos por desvio de saúde, foram desconhecimento da doença, instabilidade emocional, a não colaboração dos parceiros, dificuldade financeira para comparecer as consultas agendadas. Dessa forma, conhecer os comportamentos de autocuidado por desvio de saúde em mulheres portadoras de condiloma vulvar permitiu perceber que apresentam déficit de autocuidado que independem da vontade destas mulheres. An interview with open and closed questions was assigned and the data were analyzed descriptively. We observed that the interviewed women have low socioeconomic and educational level. The self-care behaviors identified in this research from the requisites for health problem were lack of knowledge about the disease, emotional inconstancy, partners' lack of collaboration and financial difficulty to attend set appointments. Thus, knowing self-care behaviors for health problems in women with vulvar condyloma allowed us to notice that they present self-care deficit which are independent of their own will. Vulvar condyloma is characterized by genital warts caused by the human papilloma virus, a sexually transmitted disease. With this research we aimed to identify self-care behaviors from requisites for health deviation in women with vulvar condyloma.
