The university years will experience a significant transitional moment in which parental monitoring and oversight are diminished, and the students attain a degree of financial independence. When entering college, many students face their first financial obligations, such as paying bills, budgeting, and establishing credit. University students are also more vulnerable to making unwise financial management. Poor financial management can trigger financial problems and stress for university students. This study examines the impact of financial knowledge, money attitude, financial self-efficacy, and locus of control on ethical financial behavior among university students. The aim of this paper is to propose Ethical Financial Behavior Among Under Undergraduate Student. Methodology used by the study is based from the literature search and secondary data to come out with the suggested framework. The expected findings of the study are four segments of Ethical Financial Behavior Among Under Undergraduate Students. This study provides complementary insight regarding financial-related understanding and assists in developing financial management-associated ideas, which are beneficial not only to students but also to society.
Zakat E-payment is one of the product innovations that is a widely spread method to facilitate the contribution of zakat in the present world. Online payment is an important method of transaction widely practiced across the globe. Due to its flexibility and convenience, it has been a popular payment method recently, especially in critical religious matters such as zakat, one of the pillars of Islam. The main objective of the study is to analyse the acceptance of the zakat e-payment system from the perception of undergraduates as they are potential payors in the future as they enter the workforce. Specifically, factors influencing the acceptance of zakat e-payment will be determined. The study’s conceptual framework is based on the Theory of Acceptance (TAM), where six variables or constructs, namely financial literacy (FL), perceived usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), Enjoyment (ENJ), Attitude (ATT) and Behavioural Intention (BI). This cross-section study employs a data set comprising 210 undergraduate students. Data was collected using a close-ended questionnaire. The results, among others, recommend that zakat e-payment system providers modify or create highly usable applications. Therefore, marketing initiatives should focus on promoting these zakat e-payment system characteristics.
Philanthropy plays an important role in alleviating the wellbeing of society. The role of philanthropy has been significant during the covid-19 pandemic, especially in the education sector which has led to the new norm of learning such as the open and distance learning (ODL) were implemented. Thus, technology becomes important, incurring additional costs for parents to acquire computers, handphones, and internet lines. As a result, various parties such as philanthropic organisations came forward to assist. However, the issue of transparency and accountability of these organisations also becomes the main highlight of the public. In addition, the effectiveness and efficiency of the assistance were also raised. Thus, this study aims to present a philanthropy framework in implementing new learning norms for B40 households, one of the worst groups affected by the pandemic. Specific issues such as transparency, accountability and effectiveness of assistance would be focussed. This study will be useful to provide guidelines to the management of philanthropy organisations towards sustainability and effective assistance in teaching and learning for B40 households.
