The school principal's performance assessment is a form of evaluating the quality of the implementation of the main tasks and functions of the school principal in carrying out managerial and supervisory functions in the institution he leads. This activity is important to do in order to know the quality of the school principal's performance. The stages passed: forming the Foundation PKKS team, formulating the PKKS format, socializing the PKKS agenda, coaching from supervisors, PKKS visits, and submitting findings. The results showed that the school principal's performance assessment found incomplete documents so that it was recommended that the school make improvements that could help prepare the school for re-accreditation.
Kepala madrasah merupakan ujung tombak kepemimpinan pada sebuah Madrasah yang dituntut bisa membawa madrasah menjadi lebih maju dan berkualitas. Maka perlu parameter untuk bisa meningkatkan kualitas kinerjanya. Penilaian kinerja kepala madrasah MA Takhassus Al-Qur’an merupakan proses pengumpulan, pengelolaan, analisis, dan interpretasi data kualitas kepala madrasah dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Kegiatan ini untuk mengevaluasi tugas kepala madrasah berdasar tugas utama: perencanaan; pelaksanaan; pengawasan; evaluasi; dan pelaporan. Penilaian kinerja kepala madrasah mencakup usaha pengembangan madrasah, pelaksanaan tugas manajerial, pengembangan kewirausahaan, supervisi kepada guru dan tenaga kependidikan, dan hasil kinerja kepala madrasah.Kegiatan penilaian dilakukan dengan wawancara setiap koordinator komponen madrasah terkait ndikator kerja pada madrasah, atas bukti otentik kualitas kinerja yang disampaikan kepada tim penilai. Dari hasil penilaian dan evaluasi merekomendasikan kepada kepala madarasah saran pengembangan yang selanjutnya dijadikan titik tolak peningkatan kualitas lembaga pendidikan.
