The reference to the success factors of incubators and startups in running their business so far has been ambiguous. The purpose of this study is to analyze the critical factors that can affect the success of incubators and startups. The quantitative research method describes the research results. The study locus is in East Java Province, Indonesia with primary data from respondents in five regions: Banyuwangi, Jember, Madiun, Malang, and Surabaya. The number of respondents was 41 from incubators and 59 from startups with identification of domicile, type of business, and business turnover. Data was collected using surveys and interviews with 100 respondents. The analysis in this study uses eleven factors that are assumed to be factors of business success that have been tested with Kaiser Meyer Olkin Measure (KMO), Measure of Sampling Adequacy (MSA), Bartlett’s test, and Cronbach Alpha. The critical point used for the KMO value is between 0.5 and 1, the MSA test critical point is 0.5, Bartlett’s test is less than the significance level (α = 0.05), and α cronbach ≥ 0.60. The analyzed factors are as follows: synergy products; processes; innovation management; communication; culture; experience; information technology; innovation skills; functional skills; and implementation skills. As a result, incubators and startups agree on eleven critical factors to building their business success, but there are differences in the priority scale between incubators and startups on these eleven factors.
This study was conducted to analyze the processing of printed journals in the library of psychology at the Gadjah Mada University. The research method used qualitative research approach to field research. Results showed library faculty of Psychology UGM manage print journals by manual and electronic. Steps are done in the processing of journal started from the examination and granting of library stamp, recording, inputting, binding, labeling and preparation of the collection in the shelf. The Problems facing libraries in the processing of print journals is still a large number of collections of printed journals that are not yet input into Library System Information (SIPUS Simaster) and does not include the second name of journal and does not write the abstract. Library Faculty of psychology should add technical personnel or librarian to input the identity of journals that have not been incorporated into SIPUS Simaster and re-edit a journal of identity that has been already inputted by completing the journal identity of the second author's name as well as abstract.
This study aims to identify the level of ereadiness of the Library of Universitas Negeri Padang in the development of information technology-based libraries using the e-readiness tool developed by Mutula and Brakel (2006). Data in this study were obtained from questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the mixedmethod concurrent triangulation model. The sample in this study was determined by saturated sampling techniques to obtain quantitative data and purposive sampling to obtain qualitative data. Quantitative analysis shows that the readiness segment of the institution obtained a score of 3.12 which means that in the ready category, the human resource readiness segment obtained a score of 3.31 which is categorized as very ready, and the information readiness segment obtained a score of 2.89 which is categorized as ready. Meanwhile, the score of the infrastructure readiness segment was 3.09 categorized as ready while the external environment readiness segment had a score of 3.10 in the ready category. From the qualitative analysis, the findings showed that the Library Universitas Negeri Padang has applied information technology in almost all library activities and has been running quite effectively. However, it is still constrained related to the freedom of the library in managing the library software system that is still connected and integrated under the management of the computer center of the Universitas Negeri Padang.
