The study’s goal is to develop a set of recommendations for forming the system of monitoring the business-structure activities in the circular economy development. To achieve this objective, the structural components of the system of monitoring the business-structures are identified; the adjustment vectors of the system of monitoring the business-structure activity are identified by taking into account the circular economy priorities; the solution is chosen to improve the system of monitoring the business-structure activity in the circular economy development; a model of information and analytical support for the process of forming the system of monitoring business-structure activity in the circular economy development is made up. The management mechanism to choose solutions from improving the system of monitoring the business-structures activities in the circular economy development is developed. Unlike existing ones, it is based on taking into account the relative importance of the factors that affect the formation of the system of monitoring, the links between them, and the factors' priority, which allows selecting from numerous alternative solutions those that have the greatest potential to improve the system of monitoring and establish the possible solutions' implementation sequence. In addition, a model of information and analytical support for the process of forming the system of monitoring the business-structure activity in the circular economy development is proposed. It differs from the existing ones in that it takes into account the mutual influence of the signs and conditions to improve the system of monitoring in relation to the development object, and makes it possible to increase the level of the information content of monitoring subjects when making corrective management decisions. The article is aimed at researching the interpretations of the concept of «digitalization», formulating the authors’ own definition of the concept, analyzing tendencies in the development of digitalization, studying its impact on business and other sectors of the economy and determining perspective directions of digitalization in Ukraine. The article defines that stiff competition in the context of globalization, dynamic changes in the external environment, and the COVID-19 pandemic challenged all sectors of the economy, forcing them to look for new innovative ways to stay in the market. It is determined that only those areas of business that managed to quickly begin the transition to electronic systems were able to adapt to the new conditions of existence, which allowed them to keep on the market and even increase their profits. Digital technologies are becoming the trend of our time, and digitalization increasingly covers all spheres of life. The introduction of digital innovations allows companies to ensure stable, efficient future operations and market competitiveness. Based on the analysis of the definitions of different authors, the article proposes its own interpretation of the concept of «digitalization». The main advantages of digitalization are also considered and allocated. The research carried out by the authors allowed distinguish priority directions for the implementation of digitalization in Ukraine, namely: medicine, digital marketing, education, public services, and culture. The article explains what results in these areas have already been fulfilled in the direction of digitalization and proposes actions that should be implemented in the future. The development of an efficient system of digitalization of business and the State is a powerful lever of influence on the development of the economy of Ukraine. The carried out research indicates the objective need for further active digitalization of the priority directions identified in the article, which will facilitate the transparency of doing business in all sectors of the economy and public administration in Ukraine.
The article is aimed at examining the innovation activity of the world-wide and domestic companies in the sphere of trade; identifying global trends in the innovative development of trading companies in the context of the coronavirus pandemic; development of recommendations for further development and increase of the level of innovation by domestic companies in the sphere of trade, taking into account world trends. The latest data on Ukraine’s positions in the competitiveness and innovation activity ratings are considered and analyzed. The peculiarities of innovative development of both world-wide and domestic companies in the sphere of trade are researched. By analyzing activities in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic of the world’s most successful companies in the sphere of trade along with the companies – innovative leaders among retailers, it was possible to determine the main directions of innovative development in the world. It is also defined that companies seeking to become the strongest in innovation, taking into account the situation caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, mostly prefer the frontline analytics, digital design and technology platforms. The article analyzes the current status and defines the main trends in the innovative development of domestic business entities in the sphere of trade. In the context of the crisis associated with the coronavirus outbreak, only those companies that are capable to create sustainable competitive advantages will take hold on the market. Trading companies need to focus on being open to innovation and digital transformation and changing existing business models accordingly to a more sustainable ones. The article develops recommendations for further development and increase of the level of innovation by domestic business entities in the sphere of trade, taking into account world-wide trends.
This article is aimed at researching the phenomenon of leadership, analyzing the qualities of project leaders and defining the key qualities that project managers should have to effectively manage teams and achieve maximum results. The article defines that in order to ensure effective management of the project team with dynamic changes in the external environment, the project manager must be not only a director, but also a leader at the same time. It is precisely the leadership qualities of the project manager, which provide the ability to coordinate the team’s work in such a manner that certain results be achieved, i.e., the expectations of the main stakeholders be fulfilled or exceeded. The article examines the most characteristic traits inherent in leaders, which are highlighted by various researchers of the «traits theory». It is determined that of importance for a project manager is not only certain traits of the leader, but also professional competence. The criteria for assessing the level of competence of project managers in accordance with the ICB4 standard, as well as the necessary skills in relation to the individual competence of «Leadership», are specified. The main qualities and skills of the leader-manager according to the latest version of the PMBOOK project management standard are also considered. The research carried out by the authors resulted in distinguishing the most important qualities of the leader, which, combined with the necessary professional knowledge and skills, will allow project managers to become successful and effective in team cohesion to achieve the best results in project activities. The traits allocated as result of the research, such as responsibility, perseverance, ability to cooperate, kindness and others, will allow project managers to be successful leaders of their teams and to effectively manage projects and programs.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze project success criteria, study the interpretation of the term "project stakeholders," define their values, study the methodology of project stakeholder analysis in close connection with the assessment of project implementation success. One of the modern management directions is the theory of interested parties, which determines the direction of the company's development, taking into account the value orientations of the company's main stakeholders. Given the uniqueness of project implementation for organizations, time constraints, and the possibility of various types of risks arising due to the dynamism of project environment, stakeholders’ influence on a project outcome is critical. That is why it is important to establish effective interaction with all the interested parties of the project for successful implementing projects. The paper highlights the criteria for project success. It is found that, in addition to compliance with the key parameters and limitations of the project, the success of the project implementation also determines the level of satisfaction of all its stakeholders. The author of the paper considered and grouped the main interpretations of the term "stakeholder" that relate to the project management. The paper also substantiates that in project management, interaction with stakeholders should be inextricably linked to the assessment of project success, which is determined by the degree of satisfaction with the value received by all interested parties when their interests are balanced. In the paper, the author considered effective tools that help with the identification, analysis, and active involvement of stakeholders, who contribute to the effective implementation of the project, the achievement of its goals and results, ensuring the satisfaction of all interested parties and achieving its success. In addition, the main advantages that are achieved due to the establishment of effective interaction with project stakeholders are highlighted.
