A chip set consisting of three GaAs HEMT MMICs (voltage-controlled oscillator, medium power amplifier, subharmonic mixer) and a discrete Si Schottky niiser diode has been developed for 77 GHz autoniotive radar systems. It facilitates the realization 0 1 i~ high performance millimeter-wave radar front-end with a minimum amount of chip area and, coiisequently, low production costs.
The influence of coherence terms on the differential cross section for K(4^P3/2) interacting with Ar has been measured. The excitation with circularly polarized light directed perpendicularly to the scattering plane induces oscillations in the cross section for (T + light in contrast to a". This asymmetry is verified by the measurement of the corresponding left-right asymmetry with respect to the scattering angle.
