The effectiveness of immobilization of glucoamylase on cotton linters and beech wood pulp activated in a number of manners was examined as well as the kinetic properties of immobilized enzyme.
The hydrolysis kinetics of starch and maltose solution with soluble and adsorbed on DEAE‐cellulose glucoamylase were examined. The observed changes of kinetic and thermodynamic properties of enzyme in the course of its immobilization were tried to be explained on the ground of conformation changes of glucoamylase and diffusion limitation of starch.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
