Investigation on the transfer reaction to the polymer in the copolymerization of trioxane and 1.3-dioxolane I I I . The redistribution of the structural units in oxymethylene and oxyethylene in the reaction of trioxane and polydioxolaneThe reaction of trioxan and polydioxolane initiated by BF,-etherate introduces oxymethylene into the inactive polymer chain. Based on theoretical considerations of the splitting mechanism, the time-dependence of microstructure formation is discussed. Possible redistribution processes of chain segments and monomers are compared. The kinetic and thermodynamic control is considered. The values of the activation parameters suggest a SN1 mechanism.
I . Ethylene polymerization with on the carrier fixed organometallic compounds. I . Preparation of the catalystsTetrabenzylzirconium is fixed on alumina having different contents of hydroxyl groups on the surface, produced by heating between 200 and 80OOC. In dependence on the concentration of the hydroxyl groups the zirconium compounds obtained carry two or three benzyl groups splitting by solvolysis, if during the reaction the concentration of the zirconium organyl is smaller than the concentration of the hydroxyl groups. In contrast, by using organyl in excess, only one benzyl group can be split off.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
