In writings cited by Professor Moser I developed an interpretation and reconstruction of William James' theory of truth. I attempted to show how, properly formulated, James' theory is not subject to the outstanding objections made against it by many philosophers. I also tried to indicate how the theory as represented is a serious and important one and deserving consideration.
