We calculate the electroweak and finite width corrections to the decay of an unpolarized top quark into a bottom quark and a W -gauge boson where the helicities of the W are specified as longitudinal, transverse-plus and transverse-minus. Together with the O(αs) corrections these corrections may become relevant for the determination of the mass of the top quark through angular decay measurements.
We present a new algorithm for the reduction of one-loop tensor Feynman
integrals within the framework of the XLOOPS project, covering both
mathematical and programming aspects. The new algorithm supplies a clean way to
reduce the one-loop one-, two- and three-point Feynman integrals with arbitrary
tensor rank and powers of the propagators to a basis of simple integrals. We
also present a new method of coding XLOOPS in C++ using the GiNaC library.Comment: 18 pages, 2 figure
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
