West Sulawesi Province has oil palm plantation areas that have the potential to be integrated with beef cattle. This study aims to collect data on feed availability from oil palm plantation waste and the carrying capacity of beef cattle development in West Sulawesi Province. The research method used is the desk study method that uses secondary data from Statistics Indonesia in 2022 related to oil palm plantations, palm oil production, and beef cattle populations, as well as research data relevant to this study. The data collected were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that West Sulawesi Province has oil palm plantation areas in 4 districts (Polewali Mandar, Mamuju, Central Mamuju, and Pasangkayu). The availability of dry matter from the plantation and palm oil processing waste is 479,554.04 Tons DM/year with a capacity of 210,330.72 LU/Year and can meet the needs of 317.61% of the beef cattle population from four districts. The index of feed availability from palm oil waste was highest in Pasangkayu Regency, with dry matter production of 11,298.8 tons DM/year. West Sulawesi Province has the potential to support the development of beef cattle with an integrated system of palm oil and cattle.
This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction on consumer loyalty maxim in the city of Medan. The influence of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on Maxim customer loyalty in Medan City. The research method used is associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were Maxim consumers in Medan City, with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Primary data was obtained from questionnaires which were distributed via google form, while secondary data was obtained through library data. Methods of data analysis using instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of the research conducted show that the variables of service quality (X1), trust (X2) and customer satisfaction (X3) have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. However, the variables of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction have a simultaneous effect on consumer loyalty (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a close relationship between service quality, customer trust and satisfaction on consumer loyalty with an R value of 83.6%. Through the value of the Adjusted R square it is known that the variables of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction contribute 69% to the consumer loyalty variable while the remaining 31% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.
Instant drinks in powder-shaped drinks are made from foodstuffs such as fruits, spices, grains, and leaves. The instant cocoa drink is made from cocoa powder with Curcuma powder which has a functional effect due to the content of polyphenols and curcumin in the ingredient. This study aims to determine the scope of polyphenols, curcumin, and antioxidant activity associated with the quality of cocoa instant drinks as functional drinks. The study was conducted using an experimental method, using a complete randomized design (CRD) of 1 factor with three-time repetitions. The results showed that the treatment with ginger as much as 18 grams had polyphenol levels of 13.11 ppm and curcumin levels of 3 ppm. The statistical tests showed an unreal influence on polyphenol levels and very noticeable differences in curcumin levels. The highest antioxidant activity was found in instant drinks without the addition of Curcuma at 11.42 ppm. Likewise, the acceptance rate of panelists for scent and taste has a score of 5 and 4, respectively. The three studies differ markedly at the 5% level. The highest water content is found in the addition of 12% ginger, with a moisture content of 4.65%.
