Kroneckerj-) beschreibt und welche im Princip mit der Construction von Jo an nis fr) verwandt ist, hier nur aufmerksam machen. Ueber ein einfaches Wassergebläse berichtet M. B ö r n e r ~-J-J-). Dasselbe ist ähnlich dem BeutelFschen §), nur hat der Verfasser esdadurch verbessert, dass der Wasserabfiuss, der früher durch einen Quetschhahu geregelt wurde, jetzt durch ein Steigrohr seinenWeg nimmt. Um das Diffundiren von Oasen bei Anwendung von Gummischläuchen zu verhindern, ohne die Biegsamkeit des Schlauches aufzugeben, schlägt F r e d e r i c k J. S m i t h § §) vor, den Gummischlauch mit einem Mantel zu umgeben und den Zwischenraum mit Wasser auszufüllen. Die Wasserschieht verhindert ein Durchdringen der Gase. Als 5iantel benutzt der Verfasser einen weiteren Gummischlaueh, welcher an beiden Enden durch einen Bindfaden verschlossen wird. Zur ]~inführung Zweier Gasleitungsröhren in Flaschen mit engem Halse schlägt O. Kleinstück § § §) vor, in einen einfach durchbohrten Kork eine l~öhre mit seitlich angeschmolzener Ableitungsröhre (f-Rohr) einzusetzen, dann durch dieses Rohr ein anderes zu stecken und den zwischen beiden Röhren bleibenden ringförmigen Raum oben durch Ueberstreifen eines Stückes Gummisehlauch zu schliessen.
