1. Es wird ein nahezu reines (99,2%, iges) weißes Calciumcarbid, das außer Spuren von CaO und Kohlenstoff keine Verunreinigungen enthielt, erstmalig dargestellt durch Erhitzen von reinem Calciumcyanamid mit und ohne Kohlenstoff (Umkehrung der Azotierreaktion).
1. Calciumcarbid, welches gewöhnlich bei seiner technischen Gewinnung in flächenzentriert‐tetragonalar Struktur (a = 5,48, c = 6,37 Å) (I) erhalten wird, bildet in Gegenwart von calciumeyanamid, seinem technisch wichtigsten Reaktionsprodukt, eine zweite, niedriger symmetrische Kristallart (II), welche bis etwa 15 Mol‐% Cyanamid aufzunehmen vermag.
Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt im allgemeinen die Reduktion von Tricalciumphosphat mit Kohle im Temperaturbereich bismazimal 1850° C mit und ohne Zuschläge. Sie gibt einen Beitrag zur Kenntnis der als maßgeblich bekannten Systeme: Phosphat + Kohle = Phosphid + Kohlenoxyd, Phosphat + Phosphid = Kalk + Phosphor, Phosphid + Kohle = Carbid + Phosphor, Kalk + Kohle = Carbid + Kohlenoxyd.
1. Im ternären System CaONa2OP2O5 wurde im untersuchten Temperaturbereich als einzige ternäre Verbindung ein Calciumnatriumphosphat von der Formel CaNaPO4, d. h. Dicalciummononatriumphosphat, festgestellt und rein dargestellt. Dieses Calciumnatriumphosphat ist auch in Gegenwart von freiem Kalk mindestens bis 1450°C beständig. Das DEBYR‐SCHERRER‐Diagramm läßt Isomorphie mit dem ähnlich gebauten Kaliumsulfat K2SO4 erkennen.
