In einem allgemeinen Sammelreferat iiber das Sulfat-Chlorid-Problem kommt Bxrghardt (1) zu dem SchluB, da13 auf die Frage ,Chlorid oder Sulfat" kaum eine allgemeingiiltige Antwort gegeben werden kann. In der Regel wird bei gleichen angebotenen Gewichtsmengen an SO, und C1 von der Pflanze mehr C1 als SO, aufgenommen. Nach Geibler hat das C1-Ion etwa die doppeltc Aufnahmegeschwindigkeit als das SO,-Ion (2). Mit zunehmendem C1-Angebot kommt es in krautigen Pflanzen vielfach zu einer linearen Steigerung des C1-Gehaltes. Im Kartoff elkraut wurden bei einer Kainit-Diingung C1-Gehalte von iiber 7% der TS gefunden (3).Allgemein kann gesagt werden, dai3 Mangel an C1 und Oberschufl an S ohne praktishe Bedeutung bleiben, wahrend C1-OberschuB und S-Mangel schwerwiegende stoff wechselphysiologische Storungen bewirken. Nach Untersuchungen von Bxchner (4), Geibler (2), Arnold ( 5 ) und Niemann ( 6 ) kann die Wirkung einer C1-Diingung durch zahlreiche Faktoren wie Bodenart, Bodenreaktion, Nahrstoff -, Wasserversorgung und Lichtiiitensitat verandert werden. Vor allem von den Sorptionsverhaltnissen und der Wasserversorgung des Substrates hangt es ab, ob es zu einer C1-Ionen-Anreicherung kommt oder ob Oberschusse ausgewashen werden. Pfajj (7) fand z. B. in Lysimeterversuchen, dafl bei einer Diingung mit 40er Kali 70% des C1 ausgewaschen wurden.Bei der minenalischen Dungung von Azaleen wird die Frage aufgeworfen, ob neben SO,-auch C1-haltige Diinger verwendet werden konnen. Es wird vielfach dile Meinung vertreten, dai3 ausschliefllich chloridfreie Diinger m verwenden sind (8, 9, 10). Diese Empfehlung mag dort eine Berechtigung haben, wo den Pflanzen bereits mit dem Gieflwasser erhebliche Mengen an C1-zugefuhrt werden. Von Vogel (8) wipd der Grenzwert fur die Clk-Konzentration des GieBwassers mit 100 mg C1/1 angegeben. Bik (11) fand jbei Verwendung von NaC1-haltigem GieBwasser erst bei 170 mg C1/1 eine Schadigung der Wurzeln und oberirdischen Teile von Azaleen. Die Tabelle 3 zeigt, dal3 die Bliitenanzahl und das Sprofi-Trodrengewicht je Pflanze von der K-Form nicht signifikant beeinflufit wurde. Bei der kombinierten K,SO,/KCl-Diingung von 50% SO., und 50% Cl w r d e ein gleichhoher Bliiherfolg wie bei ausschliefilicher KC1-,bzw. K,SO,-Diingung erzidt.Die Wirk,ung der N-Steigerung war allgemein groder als die der K-Steigerung. Wahrend die Bliitenanzahl durch die Verdoppelung der N-Konzentration von 300 auf 600 mg/l signifikant gesenkt wurde, blieb sie $ei der Vendrdfachung der K-Konzentration van 200 auf 600 mg/l unbeeinfluflt. Das Sprofi-Trockengewicht war ebenfalls in der N-Stufe 600 mg/l niedriger, jedoch waren die Unterschiede nur z. T. gesichert. Aus diesen Befunden ist der Schlui3 zu ziehen, dai3 das Verhaltnis N : K, die auf die Einheit N entfallende K-Menge, in der Diingung weitgeliend variiert werden kann, ohne den Bliiheff ekt zu beeinflussen.Das AusmaB der K-Wirkung war in den beiden N-Stufen unterschiedlich. Die Erkenntnis, dai3 sich die Nahrstoffe in ihrer Wirkung auf die Ertragsbildung gegenseitig beeinflussen, hat bereits Sprengel 183 1 zu der Forderung veranlafit, da8 neben der Menge das Verhaltnis der Nahrstoffe beachtet werden mui3 (1 3). Seither konnte in unzahligen Untersuchungen gezeigt werden, dai3 diese Forderung fur die Erzielung hoher Ertragsleistung und -sicherheit der Kulturpflanzen in der praktischen Dungung von grundlegender Bedeutung ist.Das optimale Nahrstoff verhaltnis fur die Diingung wurde hauptsachlich aus der Gegenuberstellung der hochsten Trockensubstanz-Ertrage und dem Nahrstoffgehalt der Pflanze sowie dem Nahrstoffentzug abgeleitet. Die in der Literatur z. T. recht unterschiedlichen Angaben uber das optimale Nahrstoff verhaltnis fur dieselbe Pblanzenart zeigen, dai3 es problematisch ist, ein allgemeingultiges Nahrstoffverhaltnis anzugeben.In den zu diesem Fragenkomplex wohl vielseitigsten Untersuchungen von v . Boguslawski u. a. zeigte sich, dal3 der Einflu8 des Nahrstoffverhaltnisses der Dungung auf das Nahrstoffverhaltnis in der Pflanze mit der Intensitat der Dungung, insbesondere der Stickstoff dungung, steigt (4). Das Nahrstofiverhaltnis in der Pflanze wird aber nicht nur von der Hohe der Diingung, sondern auch von den kliniatischen Faktoren beeinfldt, vor allem von der Hohe der Niederschlage (2, 8,9).Das Nahrstoff verhaltnis der Diingung selbst wird durch die physikalischen, chemischen und biologischen Eigenschafien des Bodens oft mehr oder weniger verandert, bevor es zur Einwirkung auf die Pflanze kommt. 2. B. ist die Wirkung der K-Diingung oft sehr unterschiedlich. Je nach der Menge des fur die Pflanze verfiigbaren Kaliums im Boden wird die ertragsfordernde oder -mindernde Wirkung der K-Dungung variiert (1, 3, 10. 11, 12). Hierin liegt die hauptsachliche Ursache, dai3 bei gleicher K-Dungung in einem Falle eine K-Wirkungbei intensiver AT-Dungung oft auch eine Wechselwirkung zwischen den Faktoren N und K festzustellen istund im anderen Fall die K-Diingung den Ertrag quantitativ uberhaupt nicht beeinflu&.
