A secondary Cryptococcus neoformans-infection in a case of chronic lymphadenosis treated with cytostatics, X-ray and corticosteroids is described. The autopsy diagnosis was based on the morphologic features of Cryptococcus neoformans in a toruloma of the lung and a granulomatous meningoencephalitis. The clinical symptoms and roentgenographic observations makes probable that infection takes place about 8 months before death.
