Jeder Praktiker kennt die Schwierigkeiten, die vielfach der schnel. len Abheilung von Ulcera mollia unter der Applikation lokaler Antiseptika ini Wege stehen. Es war daher kein Wunder, daß, entsprechend den mancherlei Erfahrungen auf andern Gebieten, Gonorrhoe, Furunkulose, Impetigines, der Versuch gemacht wurde, auch hier mit andern Mitteln helfend einzugreifen, die in der Richtung jetzt beliebter Methoden liegen. Man hat, wie Sie wissen, in. H., sich der hier zur Debatte stehenden Proteinkörper bedient, man hat Ulcera mollia mit Terpentin, Milch, Aolan behandelt, und zum Teil auch mit gutem Erfolg, was ich ganz besonders für das erstere hervorheben möchte.Aber auch Methoden aus jener Gruppe, die man vielleicht als spezifisch oder wenigstens als mit einer gewissen spezifischen Komponente versehen ansehen darf, sind, wenn auch nicht häufig, versucht. So hat z. B., auf Anregung Brucks, Tetsuta Ito aus der Breslauer Universitätsklinik 1913 im Arch. f. Den, u. Syph. 1913, 116, S. 341 klinische und bakteriologisch-serologische Studien über Ulcus molle und Ducreysche Streptobazillen veröffentlicht und bei dieser Gelegenheit über eine Streptobazillen -Vakzinebehandlung berichtet, die bei den Schankerbubonen schnelle und gute Resultate liefert. In anderer Weise ist R e e n s ti e r n a (Stockholm) vorgegangen, der im vorigen Jahre in der M. ni. W. 1920, 31, S. 895 ein Serum gegen weichen Schanker, insbesondere dessen Bubonen, empfiehlt und dabei in der Weise verfährt, daß er großen Schafböcken mittels intravenöser Injektion in steigender Dosis lebende und abgetötete Streptobazillenkulturen verabfolgt. Das auf diese Weise erhaltene Serum soll Komplementablenkung mit Ducreyschen Bazillen geben; therapeutisch ausprobiert ist es an etwa 100 Fällen des Karolinischen Instituts in Stockholm bei Bubonen, die größtenteils mit Ulcera mollia vergesellschaftet waren. R e e n st i e r n a will mit dieser Methode -es kamen 2, höchstens 3 Injektionen in Frage -die Behandlungszéit für Bubonen von 4 Wochen und darüber auf etwas ilber eine Woche herabgesetzt haben. Diese Methode ist meines Wissens bis jetzt nicht nachgeprüft worden. Aber ganz abgesehen davon, erscheint mir a priori, zumal unter unsern heutigen Verhältnissen, die Ausführung nicht gerade einfach. Aber auch die aktive Immunisierung im Sinne der üblichen Vakzinetherapie scheint gerade bei den Ulcera mollia auf Schwierigkeiten zu stoßen, die sicher auch erklären, warum die Arbeiten von Ito keinen weiteren Anklang gefunden haben. Das große Hindernis liegt nämlich, was auch wir leider haben durchkosten müssen, in der Gewinnung einer einwandsfreien Kultir.
