Lack of independent learning is the background of this research. The research objective was to determine how independent student learning was after applying the Think Pair Square type of cooperative learning model. Qualitative descriptive is a type of research using an instrument in the form of an independent learning questionnaire. The subjects in this study were class XI RPL B students of SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi who were registered in the 2019/2020 school year. Based on data analysis with data descriptions, it was found that student learning independence for each indicator was at a percentage of more than 59%. With strong criteria. So, it can be concluded that the students' learning independence is strong after applying the Think Pair Square cooperative learning model.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMK melalui pembelajaran TPSq. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dengan analisis korelasi dan regresi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK di Sumatera Barat, dengan jumlah sampel 25 orang siswa dengan teknik purporsive sampling. Data tentang kemandirian belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh melalui angket, yaitu mengukur hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan duahal di atas. Sedangkan data kemampuan pemahaman konsep diperoleh melalui tes. Hasil analisa data diperoleh bahwa pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,578 dan koefisien determinasi R 2 sebesar 33,5%, dan persamaan garis regresi š = 35,648 + 0,296 X1 + 0,383 X2. Melalui analisa pengujian diperoleh bahwa koefisen korelasi dan koefisien regresi tersebut signifikan. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa.Kata kunci: Kemampuan pemahaman konsep; kemandirian belajar; motivasi.
The present study applies Blended learning model to secondary school level and conduct experimental study of 36 students of eleventh grade. Eighteen students in experimental group received blended learning model by application of supporting tools of visuwords, while in control group students were taught with face-to-face learning model. The purpose of this study was (1) to analyze the effectiveness of blended learning model in improving studentsā vocabulary achievement, and (2) to elaborate how students perceive blended learning. The research revealed that both experimental class and Control class were improved in vocabulary achievement based on the given context. The effectiveness of Blended learning model was medium. However, the experimental class vocabulary improvement was greater than Control class. Moreover; the students dominantly had positive perception on the blended learning model. That perception is proven on their feelings which are happy on blended learning model and their thinking that their score influence their score. Therefore, was concluded that the use of a Blended learning model affect the learnersā achievement. Moreover, Students' perceptions were positive and confirm the perception was in line with the studentsā grade in vocabulary achievement.
