Landiololis – tai ypač trumpo veikimo intraveninis β-adrenerginių receptorių blokatorius, pasižymintis išskirtinėmis farmakologinėmis savybėmis. Šis preparatas efektyviai mažina širdies susitraukimų dažnį bei turi minimalų poveikį kraujospūdžiui, todėl yra svarbus siekiant efektyvios prieširdžių virpėjimo dažnio kontrolės, ypač esant hemodinaminiam nestabilumui. Lietuvos ligoninių klinikinėje praktikoje landiololis naudojamas palyginti retai, o sukaupta klinikinė patirtis – maža. Siekiant padidinti informuotumą apie landiololio klinikinę reikšmę bei jo pritaikymo galimybes, buvo apžvelgti ir apibendrinti pastaraisiais metais atlikti tyrimai, vertinantys landiololio klinikinę reikšmę ūmiai prieširdžių virpėjimo dažnio kontrolei. Nustatyta, kad landiololis efektyviai mažina širdies susitraukimų dažnį prieširdžių virpėjimo metu ir yra saugus preparatas, tačiau jį rekomenduojama skirti atidžiai monitoruojamoje aplinkoje, stebint paciento hemodinamiką bei neatmetant hipotenzijos išsivystymo galimybės.
Kardiovaskulinės sistemos ligos, ypač išeminė širdies liga, jau ilgą laiką yra pagrindinė mirties priežastis pasaulyje ir Lietuvoje. Ypač nerimą kelia pastaraisiais metais stebimas didėjantis jauno amžiaus pacientų sergamumas miokardo infarktu. Siekiant geriau išmanyti rizikos veiksnius, susijusius su jauname amžiuje persirgtu miokardo infarktu ir prisidėti prie pastangų mažinti jo paplitimą, iškeltas tikslas apžvelgti mokslinę literatūrą ir išskirti bei aptarti svarbiausius jauno amžiaus asmenų miokardo infarkto rizikos veiksnius bei jų ypatumus. Mokslinių straipsnių paieška atlikta Medline (PubMed) duomenų bazėje. Į literatūros apžvalgą įtraukti 25 straipsniai. Nustatyta, kad jauname amžiuje patirto miokardo infarkto dažniausi rizikos veiksniai yra rūkymas, narkotinių medžiagų vartojimas ir teigiama šeiminė ankstyvos išeminės širdies ligos anamnezė. Jauniems pacientams aktualūs ir rečiau pasitaikantys, su genetine predispozicija susiję faktoriai – genetinis polimorfizmas, krešėjimo faktorių kiekio ar aktyvumo pokyčiai, šeiminė hipercholesterolemija, mažesnis telomerų ilgis.
