Unter besondercn Bedingungen ist die Dehydrobase in reinem Zustande darstellbar. Sie fuhrt bei der Hydrierung zu Spartein zuruck. 3. Das in der Literatur beschriebene Didehydrospartein ist kein einheitliches Produkt, sondern besteht aus einem Gemisch zweier Is05 meren, dem kristallisicrten a:Didehydrospartein und dem oligen BSDidehydrospartcin.4. Es gelang, eine einwandfreie Methode zur Trennung der beiden isomeren Didehydrosparteine zu finden. 5. Bei der Hydrierung der beiden Didehydrosparteine entstehen mindestcns zwei SparteinsIsomerc, von denen das askomere im Gegensatz zum Spartein eine gut kristallisierte Base darstellt.
