Businesses that plan to protect and maintain their assets in increasingly competitive global environment focus on activities that do not create value and reduce the cost of these activities to produce high quality at low cost. Kaizen costing method plays an important role in reducing and eliminating these activities. The main purpose of application in this context is to determine whether the Kaizen costing method has an effect on reducing or eliminating production losses as an activity that does not create value in a transformer producing enterprise. In addition, the effect of Kaizen costing method on production costs was researched in the study, thus saving costs. The effect of Kaizen costing method has been applicated in Kentav Transformer Plant with a semi-structured interview method in order to achieve these goals and objectives, that is, in reducing the activities that do not create value in the production process and saving in production costs. In the research, only the losses in the production process are focused, and activities that do not create value other than production losses are excluded. As a result of the research, it can be said that Kaizen costing method has a positive effect in reducing production losses (defective products, faulty products, wastage and residuum) and saving in production costs.
Many local and global factors affect the growth of national economies. Among these factors, energy production is one of the main sources of economic growth. This study examines the impact of energy production, especially electricity generation and thermal energy production, on economic growth in Kazakhstan. To provide a better explanation for the effect of energy production on economic growth, we also included fixed capital investment and consumer price index variables in our research model. Thus, economic growth data, fixed capital investments, consumer price index, electricity generation, and thermal energy production are determined as research variables. Research data were obtained from the databases of the World Bank and the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of the Agency of Strategic Planning and Reforms of Kazakhstan. The data range is from 2002 to 2020. The findings showed that fixed capital investment has the most dominant effect on economic growth. This is a natural result from a macroeconomic point of view. Another critical finding is that both electricity generation and fixed capital investments have a positive effect on economic growth. When the variable of the amount of electricity generated is included in the model, the explanatory power of the model increases from 85% to 90.7%. However, the effect of thermal energy production was found to be statistically insignificant. This insignificance is a research problem that needs to be analyzed in detail, taking into account the general energy production structure of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the article is to reveal the innovative relevance of the Kaizen approach to enterprise management. There are many different ways to grow a business today, and there are many different ways to access them. There are also types that cover specific situations and stages of development. The relevance of the Kaizen prevails in the search for optimal ways to develop business. In this article, the authors consider the features, methods and main directions of the philosophy of the Japanese system to prove the innovative relevance of the Kaizen approach to enterprise management. The article analyzes the experience of Kentau Transformer Plant, which in recent years has followed the control model "Kaizen". In the practice of Kentau Transformer Plant, the main goal of mastering the Kaizen method is to involve all employees in the system and make sure that they change for the better and achieve high results. The essence of the goal of revealing the innovative relevance of the Kaizen method is to consider in advance the existence of an action plan that the whole team wants to achieve in the future by working to achieve the end result and reducing resource costs.
